About the role
Our ideal Pre Sales Engineer will be acting as a consultant to our customers in delivering the most efficient network solutions to accompany their Cloud journey.
Thanks to your expertise and passion, you will create trustful relationship with our customers to establish long term growth of our customers business along with the success of the InterCloud platform.
With the support of our Engineering teams, Software Developers and Project Managers you will ensure that your solutions deliver the most appropriate answer to the client requirements, in line with InterCloud’s best practices.
Your missions...
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Business Developers, and Engineering to architect InterCloud’s solutions in support of a customer’s needs and requirements in the frame of their Cloud connectivity strategy;
- Lead technical meetings with customers to understand their business constraints to develop fit for purpose solution designs using InterCloud’s and partner’s platforms and services;
- Prepare & deliver technical presentations explaining InterCloud services to customers and prospective customers;
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of InterCloud products and solutions as well as the products of our partner ecosystem (Cloud, Network, Security…) and transfer such knowledge to your peers in the team and to the Sales, Marketing teams;
- Autonomy over developing standard network architectures and driving initiatives to create bespoke architecture content to influence InterCloud products and roadmap based on market needs
- To run online and face 2 face meetings with prospects and clients in France and all over Europe (business travels required)
- Answer RFI and RFP, gathering and managing all internal teams required to produce the best-in-class solutions
- Participate in industry trade shows and exhibitions to spread InterCloud message and create leads
This role is perfect for you if you have...
- Strong customer presentation and public speaking skills to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical people;
- Strong technical background in designing Layer 2 and Layer 3 network architectures;
- Excellent understanding of networking fundamentals and on L3 VPNs including IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, BGP, SD-WAN and a whole variety of underlays (based on layer 2 and 3 technologies) to run services using those protocols;
- Demonstrated initiative in seeking out projects that improve technical skills, technological efficiencies, quality of product, sales opportunity and leads;
- Excellent understanding of hyperscalers environments and their networking products and good insights on VM technologies.
